Is everyone ready?!? Well I'm glad to say that we are! Nathan has been counting down the days since November. He is so excited! I love seeing all the excitement he has, it reminds me of when I was little. It was and still is such a magical time of the year for me. I always hate to see it pass. Nathan especially had a great time this year decorating the house. We love to try and catch all the Christmas movies on tv. I have a few special one's that I try and catch every year. They are one's that my family would always watch every year. I can't believe they still come on. I also like watching the old Christmas cartoons and other Christmas cartoons with Nathan. I try and remind Nathan (and even myself) often of the real reason why we celebrate Christmas because I think in this day in time people loose focus of what it's all about.
Zayne enjoys looking at and touching the Christmas tree. He is sitting up so well now and LOVES to get his hands on papers and slinging them everywhere. I think this will make opening presents very fun for him :)Something else about him is he loves to eat our food! Just about anything were having he likes. I cut them up to teeny tiny pieces and he devours it with his mouth open for more. He is just a happy, fun little guy, I LOVE IT!
I have our Holiday pictures over to the right so check them out. I put them all on here b/c I didn't have time to choose the best. Some are not that great but many turned out wonderfully.
I hope everyone's Christmas is filled with love, laughter, and many special memories!

UPDATE IN WRITING
Now that I've updated in pics just a quick info of what's been going on in our neck of the woods.
We had great halloween. The day before Drew and Nate did their annual pumpkin carving. He turned out great. On Halloween night we went to a halloween carnival with our friends Sara, and her son Luke and then went trick or treating. All the boys did so great. Nathan was Batman, Zayne was a cow, and Luke was Bumblebee (from Transformers). I was nervous if Zayne would last through everything but he did so good and actually slept through a lot of it. The weather was very cool so I was glad that I ended up getting him a warm costume. Nate got lots of candy and I even took him and Luke through a neighboorhood haunted house.
Zayne had his 6 month check up this week. He now weighs 15.1 pounds and 27 inches long. He is still a little small but dr. says he healthy. He had to get his shots but was a real trooper about it and barely cried. He has also learned to say dada and a few other little cute sounds. He is such a sweet little thing. We got him a jumparoo since he loves to jump and he LOVES it!
So far this month we have had Grandad, Nah Nah, and G-Dad visit. We enjoyed them being here a lot! Of course we have made a few trips to Waycross this month to see everybody else. We plan on spending Thanksgiving in Waycross this year too.
Nathan is about to lose his 3rd tooth. This one is on top. He is a lot more brave about losing teeth then I was at his age. I use to dread it when another one of my teeth had to come out but he looks foward to it. Of course the "tooth fairy" leaving him money has something to do with that Im sure.
Make sure you scroll down far enough to see the pictures I've posted.

Pictures in the park
The other day we took Zayne to the park to take some pictures. They turned out good even though he was having another one of his bad hair days. Try and notice his 2 bottom teeth in the last picture.

Quick Update
For a quick update...
Zayne will be 6 months old in 6 days!! The end of last week he cut his first tooth! He has been a trooper about it and hardly seems to faze him at all (except for the constant drool and frequent poopy diapers:)
A few weeks ago I started him on baby food. Everytime we would sit down to eat he would try his best to get a hold of whatever we were eating, so I felt like he was ready. He loves it and so far has not encountered a food he doesn't love yet!
Nathan got his first report card from first grade and he did very well! His new toy of interest...Bakugans!!! They are just these little round balls that when you put them on a magnet card pops open into some crazy little creature. They keep him entertained for hours! He still is the sweetest little big brother! He enjoys making Zayne smile and loves him to death.
As for me and Drew...well, grab on to your seats..........We will be mommy and daddy to 3 little one's in May! Yes you read that right!!! I'm 11 weeks pregnant with number 3!!! This baby definitely comes as quite a surprise but will be loved greatly even so. Zayne and this baby will barely be a year apart which is hard to swallow at times but I think once the new baby gets a little older we will be glad that we had them so close in age. Hopefully they will be the best of friends and bring each other lots of good company. Just pray that I/we can keep our sanity for the next couple of years!! :)

5 MONTHS OLD TODAY!
My little man is 5 months old today! Can you believe it?
A few things that Zayne is into right now are:
-eating his rice cereal
-playing in his exersaucer (especially while watching his baby movies)
-he likes to jump and "dance" when he stands
-his silky (hardly ever goes to sleep without it)
-loves to go outside (I took him out the other day and let him sit in his walker and he sat there for probably 45 minutes just watching us out there and everything around him)
-He LOVES his hands! He always has them in his mouth
-likes to be read to especially "Goodnight Moon" (he always starts babbling when I read to him so I ask him if he wants to read it to me :)
-He just loves to be talked to and for you to make funny faces
Now about Nathan, he received a PARR award at school on Wednesday for showing responsibility. He also recieved one last year for showing consideration. They only choose just a few kids from each grade to receive one of these awards so we are extremely proud of him for doing so well and behaving at school. On Wed. we brought him a special lunch and ate with him. He can also read short stories! and does very well in math. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK NATE!

Zayne's Big Day!
Yesterday afternoon I had Zayne laying on his tummy on my bed while I was folding clothes. Well he was trying his hardest to get off of his stomach and he eventually rolled to his side well he apparentlly realized "hey I can actually move and control this body of mine" so he decided to roll on over! He did it 2 times! He knows he did something big because right after he did it the first time I put him back on his stomach and he did it again a lot faster.

Reminiscing and a quick Zayne update
Today I was looking at some of Nathan's baby pictures and thought I would post one of him at the same age as Zayne is now. Every so often I look through his pictures and reminisce over his baby years. He's growing up to fast! I feel so blessed to have 2 beautiful baby boys!
We took Zayne to the doctor today for his weigh
in and he has gained 12 oz. since his last check in 9 days ago. That now puts him at 11lbs. 11ozs. Way to go Zayne!

Our life the past 2 months sumed up in one entry!
Ok so I know I have not been the best at keeping up with this thing but I do plan on making up for it. Zayne is doing so much better with his colic and many nights we get as much as 8 to 9 hours of sleep (THANK GOD!). He is starting to smile and coo a lot. It is so precious to watch. It just melts our hearts to see him happy. He really enjoys laying on his activity mat and kicking the toys that hang from it. He loves watching the ceiling fan and he has spotted certain pictures on the wall throughout our house that he loves to gaze at. When he gets tired or when he is going to sleep he likes to run his fingers through his hair. He also likes to chew on his hand. He lights up when he hears Nathan talking to him. And he seems to be a mama's boy...even Drew will agree to that:) At his 2 months check up he weighted 10 lbs. 12 oz. For a while he didn't want to eat much but he is continueing to get better with it...he even took 6 ozs. for the first time this morning!! In 4 days he will be 3 months old!!
Nathan is adjusting so well to his new position in the family. I am so proud of him. He has spent the last few weeks visiting his grandparents and had a blast! We signed him up for golf lessons a few weeks ago and he really enjoyed doing that. Drew has this week off so we plan on doing some fun things this week. Below are some recent pictures and a picture from Nates 6th birthday party. ENJOY!

ZAYNE IS HERE!!!
Zayne w/ the Lamb Nathan got him
Our sweet little guy arrived on April 26th at 9:42pm(my water broke 3 days before scheduled induction...guess he was ready to make his presence known:). He weighted 7lbs 5oz 20 1/2 long. He had a head full of black hair but it is slowly starting to turn brown! The labor/delivery went exceptionally well and both baby and I are doing great. Nathan is really starting to catch on to the big brother role. He likes to give him kisses and he always makes sure he tells him bye and he loves him before he leaves. As of today he is 2 weeks 2 days old. He went for a 2 week check up on Friday and he weighted in at 7.6lbs. which the doctor said was great. I'm so relieved that everything went well and he is doing great! Keep us in your prayers!
