Just a cute little house.

Anybody that really knows me knows that I love old houses and houses with lots of character. They probably also know that I love houses in general. I love looking at houses! I love how each house possess a unique feature that make each one well, unique . I believe there is beauty in any house if you look hard enough.

This little house is chock full of charm. It was built in 1860 in a quaint, coastal town called St. Marys, GA. Even though I do not see this little beauty in my near future, I still think it is worthy to share.

I think the front is screaming for a red metal roof and a white picket fence. The trees could use some pruning and flowers need to be planted.

Love the natural light in the living room

and the simplicity of this staircase

Ugh. The carpet in the kitchen has GOT to go! But it's functional.

What about you? Can you see what I see?

The curious case of Zayne and Noah.

Did a little impromptu Winter photo shoot of the little boys. I like to take photo's that represent who they are and what they love. I think I accomplished that with these. Unfortunately, I didn't get any of Nathan because he was helping his Dad put out Christmas lights. I snapped a few of them but I didn't like the way they turned out. I guess I'll have to torture him later.

Zayne, lover of all things nature

Noah's 2 favorite toys right now, Thomas and Oink Oink

October 13, 2011

10 years ago today I married my best friend! Year 10 for me is just as exciting as the day I met him. Our love is stronger, our faith has deepened, and our family is larger! ;)

Song of Songs 3:4 says it perfectly for me..."I have found the one my heart loves".

Inscripted in Hebrew and in English on Drew's wedding ring is another scripture from Song of Songs 6:3. It says, "I am my beloved and my beloved is mine". Very true!

So, Happy Anniversary to the one my heart loves. May we be blessed with many, many more!!

Entertainment Junction.

Another really fun place we visited while in Cincinnati, Ohio was a place called Entertainment Junction. We only had to drive a short distance, to a town called West Chester, to get there. This is home to the World's largest indoor train display. My boys absolutely LOVE trains so it was a major hit!! Even us grown folks loved it as well. The boys were absolutely mesmerized by all the trains and tracks. They could have easily spent all day in there. There was SO much to see, and the attention to detail was amazing!! There is over 2 miles of displays and replicas of when trains were first introduced to the trains that run now. If you are ever in the area, and you happen to have a van full of train lovers, this is definitely a must see! Entertainment Junction was one the highlight of the trip to me. Nothing tops seeing the excitment and joy on the faces of my 3 boys.

Note: Most of these pictures were taken in the play area. All the really great stuff was in the exhibits.

Creation Museum

Recently, our family accompanied Drew on a business trip to Cincinnati, Ohio. While there, we made it over to the Creation Museum. I said we couldn't go to Ohio and not see it. I am so glad we did! It is jam packed with so many beautiful, biblically inspired things. Such a great, wholesome place to take your family. We all had such a fun time and I am so glad we went. We also visited a few other really neat places. I will try and post more on those soon!
